Weezy writes:

On podcast #33 Weezy and The Swish return to their roots, kick it old school and talk to each other. Yes, it's just we two and Matt, once more with no in-studio guest. We chose, instead to talk to you, our treasured Weezy and The Swish listener. There are two ways in which we talked to you. We talked to you, and only you, through our microphones and we talked to you, and just you, if your name is Nick, Duckhunt or El Kabong on the phone. We also talked to Guy Branum's voice mail. (lately he has not been taking our calls) And we talked to Matt's brother, Tyler's voice mail. (lately he has not been taking Matt's calls) It's a very good show, if you enjoy your Weezy and The Swish raw, honest and unflavored by the delicious ingestion of an interesting personality.

Joe Cipriano gives us the gift of song...

Joe Cipriano writes:

Words And Music Frank Loesser
Illustrated by Rosemary Wells

Some books beg to be read aloud. The words must tumble off the tongue
in order to be fully appreciated. This is one such gem. Taken from
the song "A Bushel and a Peck," the lyrics have a lighthearted,
bouncy quality.

"I love you, a bushel and a peck,
A bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck,
Hug around the neck and a barrel and a heap,
Barrel and a heap and I'm talkin' in my sleep about you.
About you?
About you!"

You just can't resist falling into the rhythm! The words and music
are even included in the back of the book. And as if the lyrics
themselves weren't enough, accompanying the text are Rosemary Wells's
sunny illustrations. The drawings are bold and cheery with a spunky
pair of ducklings bouncing across the pages, enacting the storyline.
The sheer silliness of these ducks will have a toddler in stitches.
So grab your favorite little one and warm up your singing voice. You
might even be rewarded with a hug around the neck!

Dedicated Hosting?

Well, it seems that we may need to consider some new hosting options. My poor little shared host does seem to get hit all at once, thus destroying the available server resources and preventing you from getting the show on time.

So, what do you think? Would you be willing to help fund a dedicated host (Web server)? Speaking for myself, I think it is fair to ask for some contribution in an effort to get a better server.

Just think of this as an interest check for such an endeavor. This is not to say that this is the route we are going to go, just testing the water.

Leave your thoughts in the comment area below.

Weezy and The Swish podcast 31

Weezy and The Swish podcast 31 *this episode has been saved by Spooie!*

Weezy writes:

Very special guests Kyle Cease and Ben Gleib grace the presence of Podcast #31. I really don't have an adequate explanation for the madness which ensues. Complete psychological workups are being done on both Kyle and Ben to help authorities understand exactly why these two young men have so little regard for taste, decorum and common decency. The podcast opens with Kyle as our guest which honestly was burden enough for The Swish and I. Then Ben walked in and the cumulative affect of the two of them was to say the least, very unsettling and/or hilarious, depending on your sensibilities. Keep this pod cast away from pets, children, grandparents, plants, and people that society would deem to be decent, then click and enjoy.

Weezy and The Swish podcast 30

Weezy and The Swish podcast 30 *this episode has been found!*

Weezy writes:
Welcome to Pod Cast #30, starring special comedian guests, Kelly Kursten and Wyatt Cenac, two very funny, smart, lovely people who were dragged, kicking and screaming by us into the task of ringing in the new year. We did it up "Best and Worst," style, slinging barbs and digs at blameless celebrities who did nothing more than annoy us this year. But that was enough for them to find themselves at our cruel mercy. This is a warning to Paris, Nicole, Renee, Kenny, Marry-Kate, Ashley and Mr. Tom Cruise. Listening may cause tears. We also reviewed the best PS2 Games of the year. The fact that neither Laura nor Kelly played a PS2 Game this year did not stop us. Plus we explored the year's best and worst television, movies, music and podcasts, which, of course, is ours. And it's the best, only because we say so, Listen and dare to disagree.
